GEOFFREY NAGLER, Executive Vice President

Mr. Geoff Nagler was appointed Executive Vice President of CRA September 2008. He has more than 15 years of experience managing programs to assist government, military, and private audiences develop the capability to detect, deter, defeat, respond to, and recover from terrorism. He is an expert on terrorist weapons as well as the technical requirements and limitations of their acquisition, production, and weaponization.

Mr. Nagler developed CRA's exercise and defense programs and has managed all of CRA's training and technical assistance programs. He has served as program manager and/or corporate oversight for CRA's support to the DHS National Exercise Program, DHS Response and Recovery Technical Assistance Program, DHS Training Support Program, USMC Antiterrorism and Mission Assurance Program, TSA PortSTEP Program, Commonwealth of Virginia Exercise Program, Delaware Exercise Program, LA County Public Health Support, and a host of others.

Mr. Nagler is a pioneer in exercises to prepare communities for acts of terrorism. He helped create the Nunn-Lugar-Domenici national exercise program and established DHS's process of graduated exercise support. Mr. Nagler was also a contributor to the development of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). He has facilitated and been the lead designer of over 100 exercises, including senior-level exercises and workshops involving cabinet members, mayors of major cities, three-star generals, Congressmen, and Governors.
