WHAT WE DO

OVERVIEW

MARTA FSE1

CRA, Inc. is regularly praised by its clients for providing the highest quality and most effective homeland security exercises. Our all-hazards orientation makes us the preferred company to handle complex exercises for both natural and man-made disasters.  CRA’s Public Health Preparedness Group designs and facilitates Pandemic Preparedness exercises for the military, federal agencies, and state and local groups. Our hurricane preparedness exercises coordinate activities between State, locals, and FEMA.  Our clients are drawn from Rail, Marine and River Ports, Sports and Sport Venues, and Airports, hospitals, universities, and clinics to the United States military, including the US Marine Corps

CRA draws on its worldclass subject matter experts to design realistic scenarios ranging from the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction, RADCHEM, Dirty Bombs, Chemical and Biological (CHEMBIO) Weapons to terrorist-inspired attacks with improvised explosive devices made from ANFO and TATP. CRA provides compelling exercises which get full scale buy-in from participants, and provide realistic evaluation and appraisal of plans, policies, and the attainment of objectives and goals.

CRA, Inc. is the premier exercise provider for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). We excel in direct delivery of exercise programs and supporting materials. GSA gave us their highest accolade: "Outstanding Contractor" in our June 2007 report card. Click here for details. Our staff are HSEEP-trained and have developed long-standing relationships with DHS and homeland security State partners.  The CRA scenario process creates a realistic scenario that is based on the unique needs of the specific locale, in terms of geography, local critical infrastructures and threat assessment.  CRA does not require time to get up to speed -- we are already there.

In the past 3 years, CRA has conducted more State and local homeland security exercises for DHS than any other contractor.  CRA offers both private and public sectors, unparalleled expertise and resources and a multidisciplinary approach. We provide optimum value for DHS both in terms of innovation, cost effectiveness and maintaining a standard of excellence.

The team did an outstanding job in all phases of the project. It was truly my pleasure to have worked with such a committed group of people.

- Victor Cooper
Director of Facility and Stadium Security, Philadelphia Eagles

CRA's prevention experience is rooted in the solid credentials of its seasoned senior intelligence operations and special operations officers; experienced Federal, State, and local law enforcement investigators; acknowledged authorities on terrorism, former SEAL and Special Forces opposing force practitioners; and experts on chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosive (CBRNE) agents and weaponization of bioterrorism agents.  No other team can field a knowledge base as comprehensive and cognizant of the requisite elements of an effective prevention strategy.

CRA's Terrorism Awareness training provides targeted information on terrorism. In addition, CRA provides the ShoeboxTM Workshop, a dynamic scenario-based training workshop for analysts and investigators focusing on al Qaeda tactics, Pre-Incident Indicators and Telecommunication Exploitation.

CRA's exercises and training supports a wide range of clients, some of which include:
