WHAT WE DO - CRA HOMELAND SECURITY & ANTI-TERRORISM EXERCISESWMD AND HAZMAT TRAINING OVERVIEW
CRA also supports clients in the delivery of training consistent with the DHS's Office of Grants & Training guidelines and curriculum. CRA utilizes G&T's training catalog and Emergency Response Guidelines to tailor a federally-funded personnel training program. Specifically, DHS Grants & Training is designed to meet the varying needs of its first responder training audiences. This includes reaching multiple disciplines, through training at the awareness, performance and planning/management levels, and employing the most appropriate mediums and vehicles for the particular audience:
CRA supports the clients in providing training support to the personnel responsible for responding to incidents involving Weapons of Mass Destruction and other hazardous materials. This support includes managing, developing and delivering programs of instruction. In lieu of this DHS sponsored training, CRA can develop and deliver training consistent with DHS Grants & Training guidelines. CRA’s highly experienced course developers will insure that the high caliber of the current courses and any future courses is maintained. CRA’s staff and contract subject matter experts (SME) have developed a majority of the current G&T courses and have gained unique experience in developing WMD/ hazardous materials courses that can more effectively meet the needs and requirements of local WMD/HazMat programs throughout the nation. CRA’s highly qualified and experienced staff insure that course delivery is managed effectively and that all courses are delivered consistently, expertly, including the completion and delivery of required documentation to the proper authority. CRA has developed a highly effective and efficient instructor management program that insures only the very best instructors are used in delivery of the courses and that they are also kept up-to-date on program issues and new methods for responding to incidents involving WMD and other hazardous materials.
