CRA PARTNERS WITH RESILIENT CORPORATION AS NEWEST STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTOR OF RESILIENT SCORES™
Washington DC, 28 January 2016 – CRA Inc., a nationally-recognized homeland security and emergency management firm headquartered in northern Virginia, recently signed a strategic distribution agreement with Vienna-based Resilient Corporation, owner/operator of the organizational Resilient Score™ and cross-industry Resilient Index™.
This new partnership allows CRA to provide clients access to Resilient Corporation’s database of Resilient Scores™ on approximately 7,000 organizations spanning 18 global industries, and offer a wide array of resilience performance improvement solutions under a newly launched Risk and Resilience Practice. In return, CRA will help Resilient Corporation create training and certification programs for infrastructure providers, businesses, communities, non-government organizations, and local, state and federal governments.
A Resilient Score™ represents an organizational performance and preparedness metric on how well a company, government, institution, community, or region manages its capacity to anticipate disruptions, adapt to events, and create operational excellence and lasting value. A higher score translates into a higher organizational readiness to maintain continuity against natural, technological and man-made disasters, as well as the ability to predictably recover and exploit opportunities lost by organizations with a lower score.
Founded in 1984, CRA is highly regarded for its knowledge and skills in all-hazards training, terrorism prevention, critical infrastructure protection, emergency management, information sharing and intelligence analysis, and law enforcement. The firm stands at the forefront of several national security-preparedness and resilience initiatives, conducting a breakthrough series of active-shooter exercises and staffing expert personnel at both intelligence and crime “fusion centers” throughout the United States. Since the 9/11 terror strikes, CRA has provided technical assistance to more than 3,000 public agencies and private-sector organizations in all 50 U.S. states and five Territories, training more than 150,000 first-responders in over 1,000 exercises.
Launched in 2006, Resilient Corporation continues to lead the multi-billion-dollar global resilience market with the first and only independent and objective Resilient Score™. The firm has commercialized a proprietary analytical platform to generate over 600 distinct yet interrelated Resilient Performance Indicators™ on approximately 7,000 organizations worldwide. Using state-of-the-art, data analytics and open-source intelligence, the resulting Resilient Index™ provides valuable insight on, and research opportunities across, 18 global industries. As seen in the emerging wave of Chief Resilient Officers™ and Resilient Analysts™, such actionable intelligence is triggering much-needed adherence to organizational performance criteria that increasingly shape shareholder and stakeholder value.
